Barely six months after she lost her father to brain tumour, Meenakshi Chaudhary lived her most cherished dream, which she had shared with her father. Daughter of Col D R Chaudhary, who was commanding an army unit at Gurdaspur till he passed away in January this year, Meenakshi missed her father the most as she proudly won the fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 first runner-up title, at the national pageant last week. Becoming the second consecutive Haryana ki beti to win in the pageant, after Manushi Chillar who won the national, and international Miss World title last year, Meenakshi reached Chandigarh on Monday for a three-day homecoming visit to her hometown.
